A fungicide is an agent that kills fungus.
We can get parasites from many sources, including our food and water. A common parasite in areas where the water is contaminated with fecal matter is the amoeba—that nasty little one-celled organism that creeps around like “the Blod.” This organism can cause life-threatening diarrhea, a condition known as amoebic dysentery.
The word dysentery is made by combining the prefix dys-, which means “bad,” “difficult,” “abnormal,” or “painful,” with the combining form enter, which means “intestines.”
What does enteritis mean?
Inflammation of the amoeba
Inflammation of the tongue
Inflammation of the stomach
Inflammation of the intestines
